First Time at Little Si

A trip report for Little Si

Road Issues: Road is great
Trail Condition: Easy to navigate
Bugs: Not an issue
Snow Level: No snow

I've lived in Redmond for nearly 37 years and have viewed Mt. Si just about everyday of those years...have always wanted to get to the top. I'm not quite ready for the full mountain trail so decided Little Si was more my size and speed this morning. What a fantastic morning to do Little Si...started up the trail at 06:50a and got to the "summit" at 08:25...only got passed once by a nice lady and her two yellow labs! The view of the Snoqualmie Valley was fabulous albeit a little bit gray (no rain though) and then we came around the bend to catch the view of Rattlesnake Ledge and was so cool to see the view from here of the trail we did last looked so small for this viewpoint. The trail was busy on the way down and the parking lot was full when we got back to the car. It is well worth getting there a little bit earlier to avoid the "masses". At one point my niece and I were the only two people on the trail near the peaceful and quiet (except for the birds). Loved this trail and will definitely do it again...figure it's good training for "the real Mt. Si"...maybe later this summer.

Do people really climb this? Wow!

The Snoqualmie Valley.

Pretty in Pink :-)

Couldn't pass up a chance to see the falls on the way home.
