Mt. Rainier Music Video
Seattle-based band Jubilee was so inspired by a trip to the Grove of the Patriarchs on Mount Rainier that they wrote a song about the century-old behemoth trees. Taking things a step further, they decided to record a live version of the track on location. Brave souls. On a rainy day in late September (one week before that area of the national park closed for the winter) they saddled up at the base of a giant red cedar in near-freezing temperatures and laid down this beautiful rendition of the song. We were fortunate enough to be on-hand to shoot the video and watch it all go down. What a treat.
Jubilee is a non-profit band with a mission to fight modern slavery. They do what they love to undo what they hate. Check them out at their website, livejubilee.org.
